At Britt White Studio, our mission is to ‘Create beautiful spaces… for life’. We are passionate about a commitment to crafting a highly evolved built environment. Our focus is on creating a meaningful sense of place that mirrors the unique identity of the families, communities and groups it serves. We meticulously integrate their ideas, perspectives and connections to the wider world, bringing together the community for which each space is designed.

We are driven in pursuit of our objectives:

  • Inspire creativity and innovation: in every space we create and through every interaction we make.

  • Serve the client: craft spaces using the best design principles to enable the full scope of the client's passion and creativity.

  • Promote ‘premium sustainability’: specifying long-lasting, expertly crafted materials and techniques for minimal long-term impact. Australian designed and crafted is preferred with local artisans as our first priority.

  • Build community equity and appreciation: progressive, thoughtful design in the local community in which we live, work and play, and being recognised for dynamic creativity.

Collectively, we are actively engaged in and serve our local community of Bright, every day. We volunteer with organisations like the Alpine Cycling Club, to coach the athletes of tomorrow and bring world-class events to our home, and the Mount Hotham Winter Sports Club during the winter. We’re actively engaged with the local tourism board, assisting in delivering new facilities that increase visitation, revenue and dispersal across the region. We are active cyclists, runners, skiers and hikers who embrace the breathtaking local scenery around us.

Driven by the opportunity for positive impact, we are led by Britt who volunteers her time as a Bright Community Bank (Bendigo Bank) board member, distributing profits to local community groups and initiatives for increased liveability and quality of life for all. We have developed Bright Community Coworking and delivered interior design projects to Bright P-12 School and to Dumu Cafe, a supportive space where young indigenous people can meet and learn skills to make choices for their lives without having to change who they are. And, with the support of our clients, we ensure that all suitable preloved furniture and appliances go to those in need, supporting organisations like the Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group.
