Or, as she’s better known, Belle.

Some of you will have received our weekly project emails from our busy bee Belle, or phone calls to confirm samples or check on furniture deliveries; regardless, Britt White Studio wouldn’t be the same without her. Here’s a little about what makes her tick and her exciting new journey of studying Design.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
It seems almost a lifetime ago, but before my son was born, I lived in Bavaria and am feeling a desperate pull to be back there. After so long of being unable to jump on a plane and explore, I can say that the tug of the Euro Alps is on my mind a lot!
Favourite activity to do in Bright?
Wander! I love following the trails - up in the mountains, through the trees and along the rivers. We are so lucky to call the area home.
How do you have your coffee?
Most days, I'll opt for tea.
Favourite furry friend?
Darryl, our sweet, gentle old boxer-lab mix.
What is your biggest fear?
My son is growing up too quickly. It's inevitable, but it's heart-wrenching.
What would you sing at a karaoke bar?
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now.
What would it be if you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life?
Pasta! I cannot narrow it down to more than that - just give me all the pasta.
What’s the last movie/Netflix series you watched?
I've been watching period pieces like Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and The Duchess; drooling over those Baroque and Rococo styles of dress, art and architecture.
What’s the coolest design trend you are loving right now?
A striking modern wallpaper. There are so many incredible designs that catch your eye and leave you mesmerised for hours. I love all of them.
What do you love about working at Britt White Studio?
My job changes almost daily - I can go from sourcing and placing orders to installing and shoot days to figuring out the inner workings of social media platforms - anything goes, there's never a dull moment, and I'm always learning. Most days, I look at beautiful things - who wouldn't love that?! I love working with Britt as she's passionate about all things design, and I always leave work feeling super inspired.
What are you most excited about on your new journey into studying Design?
Clarity! With an abundance of choices surrounding us constantly, it can feel overwhelming. I like so many differing and clashing styles that pinpointing them for my own aesthetic is difficult. Where do I start? Where do I stop? Which pieces and colours will complement each other, and which will make the room seem suffocating? I love understanding the how's and why's of everything, and Design is no different.
What's your favourite design style?
Since I can never settle for just one colour or theme, I love the intrigue and playfulness of the Maximalist Style. I would love a library filled with books and curious items in a dark, moody, whimsical style and a cool wallpaper.
What's your favourite colour?
Anything that shines. I love all the fixtures we work with and how they complement a space.
What colour personality are you?
I am a Spring personality.
Who's your favourite furniture brand?
I’m in love with Fenton and Fenton.
